About Tri-Lakes Silver Alliance
Tri-Lakes Silver Alliance was established in 1996, under the name Tri-Lakes Health Advocacy Partnership, as a 501(c)(3) organization serving Monument, Palmer Lake, Woodmoor, Gleneagle and the unincorporated areas of northern El Paso County. With a re-focusing of services to senior citizens, the board of directors, in 2015, adopted the name "Silver Alliance".

My name is Dee Merenyi. My husband and I moved to Monument last year with our dog Fergie. We both really like the Monument/Palmer Lake area as it still has that friendly, small town feel. Not long after we moved here, my mother came to visit and decided she wanted stay with us. In an attempt to help her meet people and find activities she could participate in, we took her to visit the Senior Center. During our visit at the Center I learned they needed volunteers and became interested in volunteering my time there. I currently volunteer on the Board of Directors as well as co-manage the Silver Alliance Thrift Store. Fergie often accompanies me to the Senior Center for various activities as well as the Thrift Store.
