Tri-Lakes Cares
A volunteer-supported resource center whose purpose is to improve people's lives through emergency assistance, self-sufficiency and relief programs, education and other social services.

Tri-Lakes Women's Club
Philantropic social group supporting the local community.

Monument Hill Kiwanis
Service group serving the local community.

Mountain Community Transportation for Seniors
Providing transport for Tri-Lakes area senior citizens.

Senior Safety Handyman Services
Providing low- and no-cost assistance to senior citizens in the Tri-Lakes area who need minor residential modifications to enable them to continue living safely in their homes.

Pikes Peak Region Resources

Monthly Luncheon Menu, Golden Circle Nutrition Program
Luncheon meals for senior citizens is provided Monday through Friday by Golden Circle Nutrition Program. A link to their montly menu is available on their website.

El Paso County Department of Human Services
Child and adult protective services, assistance programs, foster care, and much more.

El Paso County Medical Society
Information on area physicians and consumer information regarding finding a physician.

El Paso County Bar Association - Lawyer Referral
Provides names of attorneys with experience in the desired specialty area. The first in-office consultation with an attorney is a very low cost for 30 minutes. Subsequent fees are negotiated with the attorney.

Memorial Hospital
Information on physicians, health issues, fitness, specific diseases, and research medications. Continuing education training classes are listed and open to the public on a space available basis.

Penrose-St. Francis Health Services
Information on physicians, hospital services and programs, and health and wellness issues and classes.

Pikes Peak Area Agency on Aging
Providing programs and services for older adults and their caregivers in the Pikes Peak area.

El Paso County Government
Official web site of El Paso County government.

Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado
Check on local businesses or charities. Find BBB accrredited businesses. File complaints about a business or charity.

Seniors Blue Book
Annual compilation of many services, agencies and resources in the Pikes Peak region that support seniors.

Peak Vista Community Health Centers
Not-for-profit organization offering health care services to the people who live in the Metropolitan Denver area and in Colorado Springs.

Center For Hearing, Speech and Language

University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Aging Center
Comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessment and treatment services to individuals 55+ as well as their families, trains graduate students in clinical geropsychology and supports the study of psychological aging processes. All CUAC services are offered on a low-fee sliding scale or at no cost.

Life After 50
On-line monthly magazine targeting those over 50 years old in the Pikes Peak Region.

Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
Information on area adult day care centers, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities including descriptions of any complaints and how they were resolved.

ElderWatch - Colorado Consumer Line
Information on financial scams and fraudulent business practices and investigates consumer complaints.

Legal Center for People with Disabilities and Older People
Protects and promotes the rights of people with disabilities and older people in Colorado through direct legal representation, advocacy, education and legislative analysis.

Colorado Division of Insurance
Information on licensed insurance practitioners. Information about Medicare, Medicare supplemental insurance, Medicare HMOs, Medicaid, and long-term care insurance policies available in the state as a service of the Senior Health Insurance Assistance Program, Colorado Division of Insurance.

Colorado Eldercare Planning Council
The Colorado Eldercare Planning Council (CoEPC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving of the quality of life for our seniors and especially our senior veterans. CoEPC lists companies and individual providers on their website who help families deal with the crisis and burden of long term care.

Access to government information for senior citizens on topics such as money, housing, health, travel and recreation, consumer protection and more.

Useful information for caregivers including Help with Medicare billing, navigating and understanding Medicare, care giving options and getting support and help from others.

National Park Service Senior Pass
A $10 pass provides lifetime access to more than 2,000 recreation sites managed by five Federal agencies.

National Association for Home Care & Hospice
The nation's largest trade association representing the interests and concerns of home care agencies, hospices, and home care aide organizations.

A national, nonprofit consumer service organization working to ensure access to affordable health care for older adults and people with disabilities through counseling and advocacy, educational programs and public policy initiatives.

National Clearinghouse for Long-Term Care Information
