Investing in Our Tri-Lakes Senior Citizens

Monument El Paso County Colorado

There are never enough words to thank those who help enrich the lives of our local senior citizens. These organizations help the Tri-Lakes Silver Alliance participants remain physically active in our community, stay socially engaged, participate in the arts, and allow them to have the opportunity to attend educational seminars and workshops. Our programs at the senior center have an extremely positive impact with the senior population because they are accessible, friendly, and inexpensive.

The Tri-Lakes area has the fastest growing senior citizen population in El Paso County, which is why we are extremely fortunate to be the recipient of $10,000 from the El Paso County Community Investment Program. The Town of Monument also recently donated $12,000 to our organization to help us continue to provide and improve outlets for our senior citizens, make upgrades to the center, support the overall quality of life of our older population, and assist Silver Alliance in defeating loneliness and isolation. We are extremely grateful for the support from the Town of Monument and Board of Trustees.

Tri-Lakes Silver Alliance is a non-profit, 501(c)3 that receives all of its funding through the generosity of the Town of Monument, El Paso County, Mountain View Electric, El Pomar, Tri-Lakes Women’s Club, Sertoma, American Legion Post 9-11, Bethesda Gardens, Jackson Creek Senior Living, and many private donors. We are the only senior center between Colorado Springs and Castle Rock. A huge thank you to all of the organizations who continue to support us!
