Neighbors Helping Neighbors

The Operation Round Up program was formed to assist charitable organizations, communities with special needs and individuals who have suffered from loss, personal disaster or medical emergencies. Tri-Lakes Silver Alliance was recently awarded a grant from Operation Round Up totaling $5,000.

Tri Lake Silver Alliance, A Community Collaboration

It has been another wonderful year at Tri-Lakes Silver Alliance. This is my third year being involved with this fantastic organization. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting many great people at the senior center and the thrift store. Our amazing army of volunteers help make us a enormous success at both the center and at the store. In 2018, the Senior Center was busier than ever with our senior citizens attending parties, games, exercise classes, crafts, book clubs and more.

The Tri-Lakes Women’s Club, a long-time supporter of Silver Alliance, continues to help us improve the appearance of the senior center. With their generous grant, we were able to purchase 5 new bookcases, 3 privacy panels and new exercise equipment.
