On February 27th the Tri-Lakes Silver Alliance Senior Center hosted its second annual Purse Party. This free event included a plethora of purses and handbags stuffed with exciting goodies.

There are never enough words to thank those who help enrich the lives of our local senior citizens. These organizations help the Tri-Lakes Silver Alliance participants remain physically active in our community, stay socially engaged, participate in the arts, and allow them to have the opportunity to attend educational seminars and workshops.
The Operation Round Up program was formed to assist charitable organizations, communities with special needs and individuals who have suffered from loss, personal disaster or medical emergencies. Tri-Lakes Silver Alliance was recently awarded a grant from Operation Round Up totaling $5,000.
At the end of September, the Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce made a very generous donation of $1,000 to the Tri-Lakes Silver Alliance to help support our senior center programs and general operations.
